We are happy to announce that the jury of the ECMI Student Prize 2023 has examined the received reports and decided to award the prize to the team
MIMUW (members: Jacek Zgud, Kajetan Fornalik, Paweł Rosłoniec, Tomasz Sibicki, University of Warsaw)
for the problem proposed by our industrial partner, Girteka Logistics, entitled
European road freight prices and quantity dependencies: prediction models
The opinion of the Jury is that team MIMUW presented a detailed analysis of the complex problem that was proposed involving knowledge in several fields, while properly motivating the assumptions.
We congratulate with all the participants.
The winners will present their report during the ECMI Modelling Week 2023 that is taking place in Sgezed, 9-16 July 2023.
