22nd ECMI Conference summary

After 5 days, 9 plenary lectures, 183 talks in 25 minisymposia, 56 contributed talks, 8 industry talks and panel discussion the 22nd ECMI Conference is over. We would like to sincerely thank the participants! There speakers. Without you this conference would not be possible. Among the 300 of our guests the biggest group was from Poland, but all of the Europe was well represented. We also had surprising number of visitors from all around the world, even from places so far away as from New Zealand, which is close to being antipodes of Poland! Thank you for all the time and effort, which for some was necessary to even arrive to Wrocław.

The main sponsor of the conference was KGHM, a major Polish copper and silver producer very interested in the development and application of industrial mathematics. We also got support from Satander Consumer Bank, multinational financial services company, BNY Mellon, investing bank, Wrocław Academic Hub and Marshal’s Office of Lower Silesia.
