The project (Working Life Interaction in Modelling and Data Science) consists of a Study Group workshop, Modelling Week for MSc students and PhD student mobility. The event is inspired by European experience. ECMI is represented with Poul G. Hjorth (DTU) as a key resource person. The project coordinator is Dr Matti Heilio from Lappeenranta (matti.heilio@lut.fi).
Partners in the project are: Lappeenranta University of Technology, Tampere University, University of Jyväskylä from Finland and University of Dar es Salaam, University of Rwanda and NM-AIST from Africa.
The Study Group problems will be from forestry, epidemiology, energy supply and water distribution networks.
