30th ECMI Modelling week, Sofia, July 17-24, 2016

The 30th ECMI Modelling week will take place in Sofia, July 17-24. It is organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in cooperation with the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and ECMI.
Already, more than 50 students have registered. Most of them are from different ECMI nodes – University of Kaiserslautern, Technical University of Dresden, University of Koblenz, Johannes Kepler University, University of Milan, Autonomous University of Barcelona, University of Santiago de Compostela, Technical University of Denmark, University of Oxford, University of Strathclyde, Lund University, Lappeenranta University of Technology, Chalmers University of Technology, Tampere University of Technology, University of Jyväskylä, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Wroclaw University of Technology, University of Lisbon, University of Coimbra, University of Novi Sad, Universities Blaise Pascal, Paris-3, Lille-1, Strasbourg. The participants from the last 4 universities are sponsored by the French Agency for Interaction in Mathematics with Business and Society (AMIES).
The Organizing Committee of ECMIMW’2016 was able to sponsor 8 students, 2 of them with a full and 6 of them with a half Registration fee, thanks to the financial support of the ECMI Educational Committee. The procedure for sponsoring was announced on the website of ECMIMW’2016 and the evaluation was carefully made by the Organizing Committee with the courtesy of Dr. Matylda Jablonska-Sabuka from the ECMI Educational Committee.
The participants will work on 10 projects. The description of the projects together with references and additional materials are already uploaded on the website
