The Leiden Academic Centre for Drug Research (LACDR) and AstraZeneca (AZ)
have a vacancy for a

Postdoc Mathematical Pharmacology

Project description
LACDR and AZ have recently established a collaboration to develop novel
mechanistic PKPD models to describe, understand and predict regulatory
feedback mechanisms. Such models should have broad application in
translational drug discovery and development across therapeutics areas
and should provide a novel framework to optimize dosing schedules based
on mechanistic understanding of regulatory feedback mechanisms such as
tolerance and rebound. We are therefore looking to appoint a postdoc
Mathematical Pharmacology.

Selection criteria
The ideal candidate for this unique position will have a PhD in
Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or a related discipline and will
combine excellent quantitative skills with a strong desire to apply
computational approaches in drug discovery and development and
biomedical research.
