Two postdoctoral positions available in MACSI

ulMACSI currently has two vacancies for postdoctoral positions in mathematical modelling of transport processes.

MACSI is a network of mathematical and statistical modellers based in Ireland. MACSI works closely with scientists and industrial companies across a wide variety of sectors. MACSI’s aim is to foster new collaborative research, in particular on problems that arise in industry through the application of cutting-edge mathematical and modelling techniques.

The role of these Postdoctoral Researcher positions is to contribute the work programme of a new Science Foundation Ireland funded SSPC project, “Modelling of Multi-Phase Transport Processes to Enable Automation in Manufacturing” (MOMEnTUM). This is a collaborative project between academia and industry.

More information on both of these positions may be found here, while informal enquiries may be addressed to  Professor Stephen O’Brien  (Stephen.OBrien@ul.ie) or Dr Sinéad Burke (Sinead.Burke@ul.ie).
