Ena Brophy is the Business Development and Research Manager with the Mathematics Applications Consortium for Science and Industry (MACSI) at the University of Limerick, With a background in project management, Ena has extensive experience managing a range of interdisciplinary projects within academia and industry, providing insight-led solutions to meet strategic challenges across EU markets. Prior to taking on her role with MACSI, Ena was Programme Manager at BioInnovate Ireland, a medical device innovation training programme that focuses on the development of medical device solutions to address unmet clinical needs. Ena worked for two years with FIZ Karlsruhe in Germany where she developed and managed product innovation activities including the European market introduction of RADAR, a research data management tool. Ena has studied Information Technology and holds a Masters in Adult Learning and Development from NUI Galway. She has a Certificate in Research Management with the European Association of Research Managers and Administrators. In addition she is also a certified Lego Serious Play Methodology Facilitator with the Association of Master Trainers in the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®.
