GAMM Annual Meeting 2024

Kaiserslautern. GAMM 2024 – Annual Meeting with Mathematical Contributions from Kaiserslautern

Who is at the conference this week? Our colleagues are currently at the Annual Meeting of the Association of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics from 18 March to 22 March in Magdeburg, Germany. The Society for Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (German »Gesellschaft für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik« / GAMM) is an association for the promotion of scientific work and deals with Numerical Mathematics, Solid Mechanics, Aerodynamics and Perturbation Mechanics, Stochastics, Operations Research and Optimization, among others. The conference offers an optimal opportunity for international exchange for scientists.

Our colleagues of the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics ITWM from the division »Mathematics for Vehicle Engineering«, the department »Transport Processes« and the department »Flow and Material Simulation« are on site with several lectures. A number of experts from the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität Kaiserslautern-Landau RPTU) will also be in Magdeburg with presentations and posters – so there will be concentrated expertise from the Palatinate.

We look forward to seeing you at our poster sessions or presentations!
