ECMI-Springer Journal of Mathematics in Industry: Citation Impact and Special Issues

Journal of Mathematics in Industry is a peer-reviewed open access journal published under the brand SpringerOpen. It brings together research on developments in mathematics for industrial applications, including both methods and the computational challenges they entail. The agreement that has been made with Springer allow all researchers affiliated to a European Consortium for Mathematics in Industry (ECMI) member-institution to publish in the journal free of charge. The article processing charge (APC) will be waived at the expense of ECMI. Before applying for ECMI APC coverage, please check whether your institution has a full funding agreement with Springer Nature (see: Countries and Institutions with Fully Open Access Agreements with Springer Nature)
In June the journal received an Impact Factor from 2.6 for the year 2022. The journal jumped into Quartile 2 of the JCI, with a rating of 42/134 in Maths.
Following a tradition of ECMI Conferences, the participants of the 22nd ECMI Conference on Industrial and Applied Mathematics are invited to submit the extended version of their contribution for publication in a Special Issue of Journal. The journal welcomes proposals for special issues on carefully selected topics, reflecting the trends of research and development in the area of mathematics in industry. Insightful survey articles may also be submitted for publication.
