New open position at BCAM

BCAM has opened a new position of Research in Knowledge Transfer Unit.

The topic will be:

Singularity Theory, Algebraic Geometry and Nearby Topics

We look for a new postdoc member for our research group. A general description of our interests can be found in:

http://www.bcamath.org/es/research/lines/STAG/general

At the moment we are paying special attention to Maximal Cohen Macaulay modules and Matrix Factorizations, Characteristic Classes for singular spaces, Lipschitz Geometry on Singularities and a new connection of Algebraic Geometry and Singularity Theory with Floer Homology Theories (mainly via cohomology of contact loci in arc spaces and jet schemes).

The person will work with Javier F. de Bobadilla and the gross annual salary of the Fellowship will be 28.000 – 32.000€.

It will then be on your own responsibility to make your yearly income declaration at the Bizkaia Treasury Agency.

There is a moving allowance for those researchers that come from a research institution outside the Basque Country from EUR 1.000 to EUR 2000 gross.

If anyone would like to apply, please follow the instructions of the link below:
