Challenges in Preservation of Structure
Challenges in Preservation of Structure is a MSCA-RISE project supported by H2020. This is a collaboration of four European universities (NTNU, the University of Bergen, Chalmers, and the University of Cambridge), a non academic partner (The MathWorks Cambridge) and two universities outside Europe (La Trobe University, Melbourne, AU, Massey University, Palmerston North, NZ).
The focus of the project is geometric numerical integration and structure preserving algorithms and their application. The project is presented in a short movie explaining the basic ideas behind structure preservation and highlighting its importance in few selected applications. This movie project was realised in collaboration with the Norwegian science communicator Jo Røislien and NTNU multimediesenteret.
