PhD Grants in Barcelona

The Industrial Mathematics group, at the Centre of Recerca Matematica in Barcelona, are looking for candidates to apply for a PhD grant through the local Barcelona Graduate School of Mathematics.

The IM group is primarily interested in modelling nanoscale phenomena, and in particular phase change, crystal growth, fluid flow and heat flow. We collaborate with experimental groups in Barcelona and Toulouse. We also have projects on phase change with flow and the use of nanofluids for solar collectors.

Candidates should have a Masters degree at the time of taking up the grant (this means after Sept. 2016).
