RESEARCH POSITION IN MATHEMATICAL MODELLING FOR MEMBRANE FILTRATION

Applications are invited for a Research Assistant (with the option of leading to a PhD) in Mathematical Modelling of Design Strategies for Membrane Filtration, beginning October 1, 2015, or as soon as possible after this date. This is a Grade 6 position (salary range £27,057-£35,256). The deadline for applications is Wednesday, July 22, 2015 – 12:00 UK time.

The position is in the Mathematical Institute at the University of Oxford under the supervision of Dr Ian Griffiths and Dr Maria Bruna and is for three years. The position could be used to gain a D.Phil. (an Oxford PhD), but it is also open as a straight Research Assistant for candidates already possessing a PhD. The position would offer the opportunity to collaborate with research groups in Princeton University, and Ryerson University, Toronto.
