Following up on its first reaction to the proposals of the EC this summer, ISE has now published the final statement outlining seven observations and recommendations on the EC proposals for the implementation of FP10. The recommendations include measures to guarantee a relevant and independent role of basic and applied research, a simplification of the funding schemes, and an increased involvement of the European scientific and industrial associations in the political decisions.
