Basque Center for Applied Mathematics – BCAM published three new Postdoctoal Fellowship positions
- Postdoctoral Fellowship in Computational Mathematics: In the framework of ADAM^2: Analysis, Design and Manufacturing, using Microstructures, funded by FET Open Project #862025. Possible research topics include, but are not limited to: simulations of 5-axis hybrid manufacturing, in particular 3D printing and 5-axis computer numerically controlled (CNC) machining, free-form surface rationalization, and tool-shape design and optimization. Previous experience in geometric modeling projects is particularly welcome. Deadline for applications: 15th February 2022, Tuesday.
- Postdoctoral Fellowship in Deep Data-Driven (IKUR): In the framework of the IKUR Strategy BCAM offers a Postdoctoral position to work on solving Partial Differential Equations (PDEs) and Inverse problems governed by PDEs using Deep Learning (DL) techniques. He/she will develop methods for solving these problems, implement them in Tensorflow and/or Pytorch, evaluate the results, and publish them in top-ranked journals. Based on the candidate’s experience and skills, his/her scientific developments will be more focused on his/her previous expertise. Deadline for applications: 28th February 2022, Monday.
- Postdoctoral Fellow on Machine Learning for Energy Forecasting: In the framework of IA4TES – Inteligencia Artificial para la Transición Energética Sostenible project BCAM is offering a Postdoc position to work in Machine Learning. Deadline for applications: 28th February 2022, Monday
Requirements: Applicants must have their PhD completed before the contract starts.
