Post-doctoral positions in Barcelona

The Barcelona Graduate School of Mathematics is currently offering 6 post-doctoral positions, 3 junior (PhD awarded between 1st April 2015 – 1st July 2017), 3 senior (1st April 2011 – 1st April 2015). The deadline for applications is May 3rd.

The Industrial Mathematics group at the Centre de Recerca Matemàtica (which is a member of BGSM) is looking for candidates to apply for one of these grants in the area of mathematical modelling.

The Industrial Mathematics group has current research interests in heat and fluid flow, phase change and the application of mathematics to nanotechnology. The work is carried out in collaboration with groups from the Physics department at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona and the Inorganic Nanoparticles group of the Catalan Inst. of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
