Abstract
The Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (MINECO) has published the call for PhD contracts to be performed at Severo Ochoa Excellence Research Centers or within the research projects funded in the call of 2020. The call offers 5 positions in the following areas:
- One PhD Student position with regard to Severo Ochoa accreditation (SEV-2017-0718-20-1). In Core in Applied Mathematics: Fourier Analysis, Algebraic Geometry, PDEs, Discrete Mathematics, etc., Host Institution: BCAM
- One PhD Student position with regard to Severo Ochoa accreditation (SEV-2017-0718-20-2). In Modelling and Simulation: Computer Simulation, CFD, Mathematical Modelling, etc., Host Institution: BCAM
- One PhD Student position with regard to Severo Ochoa accreditation (SEV-2017-0718-20-3). In Computational Mathematics: Numerical Analysis, Algorithm Development, etc., Host Institution: BCAM
- One PhD Student position with regard to Severo Ochoa accreditation (SEV-2017-0718-20-4). In Applications of Mathematics: Applied Statistics, Energy, Biosciences, Advanced manufacturing, etc., Host Institution: BCAM
- One PhD Student position with regard to “Real-time Inversion using Deep Learning Methods” research project led by David Pardo and Vincenzo Nava (PID2019-108111RB-I00), Host Institution: BCAM
with a 4-year duration total 72.000 EUR in sum the 4 years. This grant can also fund the doctoral course tuition fees and predoctoral mobility (up to 6,860€ in total). Those PhD Students that defend their thesis before the 4-year period are issued to 1-year postdoctoral contract. The programme is open to students of any nationality and the period to apply is from October 13rd to October 27th, 14:00 CET..
