SUMMARY:172 European Study Groups with Industry (172 ESGI)
DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Organizers\, we would like to invite you to participate\nin the 172 European Study Group with Industry (172 ESGI) that will be held\nin a hybrid format (online and onsite) between February 15 and 27\, 2023\,\nwith a total duration of 44h. A detail of its structure is shown in the\nProgram Section.\nThe onsite part will be held in Seville from February 20 to 21. \nThis ESGI will focus on the area of HEALTH\, DEMOGRAPHIC CHANGE AND WELLBEING \nThe success of the ESGIs lies in its unique format. The researchers gather\nin working groups to address and solve problems raised by the participant\ncompanies. Thanks to the cross-cutting nature of mathematics\, these\nproblems can come from any industrial sector. \nIn addition\, this way of interacting allows companies to familiarize with\nthe technological capabilities and working methods of the researchers from\nIndustrial Mathematics\, helping to establish lasting and productive\nworking relations between mathematicians and industry. \nTherefore\, collaboration between industry experts and mathematical\nresearchers is essential to successfully address technological innovation\nproblems.
