SUMMARY:FedCSIS 2026
DESCRIPTION:21st Conference on Computer Science and Intelligence Systems \nFedCSIS 2026; https://2026.fedcsis.org \nRiga\, Latvia\, 23-26 August\, 2026 \nThe 21st Conference on Computer Science and Intelligence Systems (FedCSIS 2026) cordially invites you to organize a Thematic Session. The FedCSIS conferences consist of the Main Track\, which recognizes five Topical Areas: \n\nTopical Area 1: Advanced Methods of Artificial Intelligence\nTopical Area 2: Intelligent Data Processing and Infrastructure\nTopical Area 3: Networked Intelligence Systems and Security\nTopical Area 4: Intelligence Technologies for Business and Society\nTopical Area 5: Intelligent Software and Service Engineering\n\nThe role of Thematic Sessions is to enrich and deepen coverage of the five Topical Areas discerned within the Main Track. Many Thematic Sessions are recurring yearly events\, but we also solicit and welcome proposals for new ones\, until November 25\, 2025. The Thematic Sessions can run over any span of time within the conference dates; from half-day to three days (depending on the number of accepted submissions\, which depends directly on the results of the review process). \nFedCSIS is a large rigorous scientific conference staged in Europe. Annually\, it attracts ~300 submissions from ~40 countries from around the world. Papers are accepted in three categories: regular (full and short)\, position\, and communication. All regular\, presented\, papers are submitted to IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Moreover\, many Technical Sessions offer post-publication opportunities (journals\, Springer volumes\, etc.) after appropriate extensions and changes. Position and communication papers are published in separate volumes of the Annals of Computer Science and Information Systems book series. All papers are published with ISBN\, ISSN and DOI numbers\, and submitted to\, and indexed in\, the most influential indexing services. Since 2012\, the FedCSIS Proceedings are indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science. \nAny newly proposed Thematic Session will be evaluated on the basis of scientific/technical interest and its relevance to practitioners in the proposed topics\, the clarity of the proposal in addressing the requested information\, the innovativeness of the topics\, the level of correspondence and the “value-added” to the FedCSIS Main Track. It is important to stress that the newly proposed Thematic Sessions should be “thematically orthogonal” to the ones offered in the past (in 2025\, in particular). Moreover\, it is required that the organizers of the Thematic Sessions will represent at least three different countries. \nCall for Papers\, for the Thematic Sessions\, will be announced by: (1) by FedCSIS Chairs in the “generic” Calls for Papers\, to reach out to the computer science and intelligence systems researchers at large; and (2) by the Thematic Session Organizers in the Calls for Thematic Session Contributions\, to reach out to the professional communities involved in research addressed by their Thematic Session. All papers (for the Main Track and Thematic Sessions) will have to be submitted to the FedCSIS Conference System (EasyChair). \nThematic Session proposals should include the following information (3 pages maximum): \n\nThe title and acronym of the proposed Thematic Session\, and the list of topics.\nA brief explanation of why the proposed Thematic Session will fit into the FedCSIS aims and program\, including its relation to the selected Topical Areas of the Main Track.\nThe contact information of the Thematic Session Organizers\, including their affiliations\, links to their personal websites (Google Scholar profile\, required\, in particular)\, and an overview of previous experiences with organization of scientific events.\nPreliminary list of Reviewers who have agreed (or are likely to agree) to join. Thematic Session Reviewers will become members of the Program Committee of FedCSIS 2026.\nIndication of the expected number of papers/attendees.\nInformation about planned post-publications of extended and revised papers in high-quality journals\, edited volumes\, etc.\n\nThematic Session Organizers should email their proposals (in a single pdf file) by November 25\, 2025 to the FedCSIS Secretariat at: secretariat@fedcsis.org \nMore information concerning FedCSIS and can be found at: https://2026.fedcsis.org/ \nShare\n Share on X (Opens in new window)\n X\n \n Share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)\n LinkedIn\n \n Share on Facebook (Opens in new window)\n Facebook\n \n Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)\n WhatsApp\n \n Share on Reddit (Opens in new window)\n Reddit\n \n Print (Opens in new window)\n Print\n Like this:Like Loading...
