The 9th International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics
(ICIAM 2019) will be held in Valencia, Spain, on 15th-19th July 2019.
Organized by the Spanish Society of Applied Mathematics (SEMA) under the
auspices of the International Council for Industrial and Applied
Mathematics (ICIAM), ICIAM 2019 will showcase the most recent advances in
industrial and applied mathematics.
Call for propose minisymposium in ICIAM 2019 is open. Among them, the organization of Industrial Mathematics Minisimposia to visualize the current situation of transfer from mathematics to industry around the world through the presentation of successful real-world collaborations with industry.
Industrial Mathematics Minisimposia will be structured according to the Economic Activities of Industrial or Business Interest and the Societal Challenges. In addition, the proposals should focus on one (and only one) of the following Mathematics – Industry aspects:
MIA.1.- Industrial mathematics success stories developed under memorandum of understanding, contract, or competitive projects with industrial support.
MIA.2.- Industrial mathematics case studies including initiatives such as Study Groups with industry, Modelling Weeks, Industry Days, master thesis, Phd thesis, …
MIA.3.- Industrial mathematics education.
MIA.4.- Industrial mathematics infrastructures around the world to promote Industry – Academia collaborations.
