Due to the uncertainty around Covid-19 and the implications on international travel and gatherings etc., we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 21st ECMI Conference on Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ECMI 2020) that is due to take place at the University of Limerick, Ireland, from 22nd – 26th June, 2020. We are putting in place provisional dates for the rescheduling of the conference for the 21st – 25th of June, 2021. As this is an evolving situation the new dates are only provisional but we will be monitoring things over the next few months and can hopefully make a decision by mid/late summer.
We will be reimbursing anyone who has paid the registration fee, a member of the University’s conference and sports campus group will be in contact with those who have paid in the coming week. For those of you who have submitted mini-symposia/contributed talks, we will soon be in touch with the organisers to inform them of this decision. We will accept your minisymposium/contributed talk for the rescheduled conference in 2021 and hope that you and your speakers will be able to join us then.
